An Early Look at Windows Server 8

Microsoft has recently released a suite of new operating systems and application suites for consumer and technical previews — Office 15, Windows 8, and Windows Server 8 Beta are among the new products. Windows Server 8 Beta (“Server 8″) improves upon the industry standard Windows Server platform and offers substantial improvements over older versions of Windows Server.

Being that this is a beta release of Server 8, changes and updates to the product are inevitable. However, seeing the features and improvements in the pre-release form bode well for the final version of Server 8 to be released to manufacturers.

Microsoft’s overall theme and principles for the new product line seem to center around the idea of unification across the new product platforms, offering integration and seamless transitions into cloud computing, and honing the set of current features and advancements from the Windows Server family of products into Server 8.

These principles currently in use in Server 8 have the potential to translate considerable value for the legal industry. <READ MORE>
