Lawyers Get Printer-Scanner-Copier All-in-Ones for Under $200

Way back when, I ran the copying operations of a 16-attorney office. The hourly paper jams and other breakdowns of the firm’s copy machine frequently overwhelmed my limited mechanical aptitude, and I was on a first-name basis with the repairman they called in whenever my hand got stuck inside the machine along with the paper. Unsuspecting partners would come to the copy room in the midst of these seizures, wanting only to make a quick copy or two of a single page, but ended up trudging back to their office with their need for duplication unfulfilled. I think the copy room also housed a crude dot matrix printer whose output was not much more reliable. Scanning didn’t exist. Now, of course, attorneys do not need to leave their office or tax support staff for small document production jobs, since inexpensive “all-in-one” printer-copier-scanners can be placed on every attorney’s desktop.
